Activities

SNOWMOBILING - Three groomers smooth our 135 miles of trail system - which are accessible from your cottage door. BorderRiders Jackman is the hub of the northern Maine ITS, and connects to Greenville, Canada, Rockwood, The Forks, Stratton, and beyond. We're on the Canada/Rockwood trail.

ICE FISHING - We have several lakes and ponds in the immediate area open to ice fishing for salmon, trout, and lake trout. If you want to help us in our goal to rid the state of yellow perch, you can have all of them you want too - plus it's an action-filled day for youngsters.

WILDERNESS ADVENTURES - Hike, bike, snowshoe, or paddle a canoe. There are trails for all kinds of outdoor enthusiasts. There is also whitewater rafting available in the area. Jackman is one of the most beautiful parts of the state. Come see why we call Jackman "The Switzerland of Maine".

DIRECTIONS - Route 201 North to Jackman. After the bridge over the Moose River turn right at the Border Trust Bank. Then take the next right onto River Road. It's about a mile to River View Cottages, which are at the end of River Road, and located along the Moose River.
